Investors may want to keep an eye on Alpha Pro Tech (APT).
With the new variant, we’re just starting to see mask advisories pop up again. In fact, New York City just issued an alert strongly recommending that everyone wear masks indoors and outdoors in public places, regardless of vaccination status.
All after “The World Health Organization, in a technical paper published Sunday, warned that omicron poses a ‘very high’ global risk with a high likelihood of further transmission. The variant has more than 30 mutations on the spike protein that binds to human cells. Some of the mutations are associated with higher transmission and a decrease in antibody protection.”
Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as it’s been. Should we begin to see a resurgence of mask mandates, protective mask companies like APT could see further upside.
