Just yesterday, the stock popped 43% higher to $9.30 after its solid-state battery passed its first endurance test for Volkswagen. In fact, according to a Volkswagen press release, “Solid-state battery from QuantumScape achieved more than 1,000 charging cycles with still more than 95 percent capacity. Depending on the model, an electric car could drive more than 500,000 kilometers without any noticeable loss of range.”
That news could send shares of QS even higher moving forward, as solid-state batteries gain momentum in 2024.
